No Heat / No Ignition
Failed thermocouples, gas valves and control boards diagnosed and replaced on-site.

Half of the older homes in Philadelphia still heat with cast-iron radiators or baseboard loops — and we've been servicing them for decades. Cold radiators, banging pipes, leaking valves — we know exactly where to look.
From cast-iron atmospheric boilers to modern condensing combi units, we repair gas, oil and steam systems from Weil-McLain, Burnham, Peerless, Navien, Buderus and more.
Failed thermocouples, gas valves and control boards diagnosed and replaced on-site.
Trapped air, stuck zone valves and failed circulator pumps identified and repaired.
Failed pressure relief valves, tankless coils and expansion tanks resealed or replaced.
Auto-feed valve and pressure-reducing valve issues corrected so radiators stay full.
Water hammer and expansion knock traced to expansion tanks, air, and pipe supports.
No hot water from a combi boiler — heat exchanger, flow sensor or diverter repairs.
Boilers rarely fail completely without warning — these clues appear first.
Try these first — sometimes it's a simple reset.
Most residential boilers should read 12–15 PSI cold. Low pressure = radiators won't fill. The auto-feed usually restores it, but call if it drops again.
Cold at the top, warm at the bottom means trapped air. Turn the bleed screw on each radiator until water dribbles out, then close.
Most boilers have a red reset button. Press once and wait — if it locks out again, don't keep pressing. Call us.
Set to Heat and above room temp. Some thermostats need a jumper for boilers — worth checking if you recently replaced yours.
